Dr. Purvi Kadakia Kutty M.D. (PAEDIATRICS), FNB. FIAP (PAEDIATRICHAEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY) Dr. Purvi Kadakia Kutty, M.D. Paediatrics, FNB Paediatric Haematology & Oncology is Consultant Paediatric Haematology & Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centres, Navi Mumbai. She has an experience of over 10 years in the field of Paediatric Haematology, Immunology & Oncology and Paediatric Bone marrow transplants for benign and malignant hematological conditions. Dr. Purvi Kadakia Kutty completed her undergraduate medical education from T.N. Medical College & Nair Hospital, Mumbai in the year 2003.
She then pursued her postgraduate training in Paediatrics at the same institute. During the course of her training in Paediatrics she became interested in the treatment of blood related disorders and paediatric cancers. She completed a prestigious 2-year fellowship programme (FNB conducted by National Board of Examinations) at Wadia Children Hospital where she trained in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology. She also has a fellowship in the same field from the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (FIAP).
Dr. Kadakia Kutty was an Assistant Professor, Paediatric Oncology from 2013-2017 and has participated in multiple national and international clinical trials in thalassemia, hemophilia and childhood cancer survivorship programmes. She has a keen interest in teaching, and has been invited as faculty to conduct national training workshops in Paediatric-oncology and Haematology. She has to her credit numerous publications, oral and poster presentations in national and international conferences and has contributed to chapters in several books. She is affiliated with MHG, INPOG, SIOP and PHO Chapter of IAP. Her special interests are Paediatric-blood cancers, nutritional interventions for children with cancer, long term follow up of childhood cancer survivors and Thalassemia.
